Some roads don't just take you to your destination. They change you. The Leh Ladakh trip package by The Travel Story is built around one of those roads. You get to experience the legendary Manali-Leh-Manali highway, cutting through some of the most raw and spectacular terrain on the planet.
In your expedition you will cross through Atal Tunnel, climb the thundering Baralacha La, and Khardung La — one of the world's highest motorable roads. From there, the landscape shifts entirely. Nubra Valley's cold desert surprises you with sand dunes framed by snow-capped peaks. Pangong Tso Lake will take your breath away, its unimaginably blue waters stretching silently into Tibet, shifting colour with every passing hour.
This Ladakh expedition goes beyond landmarks. You travel with a group of like-minded adventurers, led by an experienced trip leader who knows these altitudes, these roads, and these conditions inside out. Inner Line Permits, stay bookings, transport, acclimatisation days, and daily logistics — everything is planned and handled before you even pack your bag.
Enjoy a peaceful walk in the last village of Thang in Turtuk. Wake up to a sunrise over Pangong. Stand on Khardung La and feel the altitude in your chest. Every moment of this Leh Ladakh journey is earned, not just ticked off a checklist.
This is not a holiday. This is an expedition and The Travel Story is your guide through every kilometre of it.
