Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans may change, and we always strive to be fair and transparent with our travelers. Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully before booking any trip with us.

1. Booking Amount
The initial booking amount is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. This amount may, however, be used as a credit note in select cases, at the sole discretion of The Travel Story.

2. Cancellation by the Traveler
If a participant chooses to cancel their trip, the following cancellation charges will apply on the total trip cost (excluding the non-refundable booking amount):
• 30 days or more before the trip start date: 50% of the trip cost will be charged.
• 15 to 30 days before the trip start date: 75% of the trip cost will be charged.
• 0 to 15 days before the trip start date: 100% of the trip cost will be charged (no refund).
Note: The cancellation request must be sent to us via official email only. Phone/WhatsApp cancellations will not be considered valid.

3. No-show Policy
If a participant does not show up on the trip start date, no refund or credit note shall be issued.

4. Cancellation/Changes by The Travel Story
In rare cases, The Travel Story may be forced to cancel or modify a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (natural calamities, landslides, floods, roadblocks, political unrest, safety concerns, etc.). In such cases, the company will provide either:
• An alternate trip of the same value, OR
• A credit note of the paid amount, redeemable for any future trip within 12 months.
No cash refund shall be made in such force majeure situations.

Please note: we do not offer refunds once an order has been placed. All sales are final. We encourage you to review your order carefully before confirming your purchase.
